We really like the color and size of this feeder. It's opaque so I know when the food is running low and I'm able to fill it much greater than other smaller feeders. We also like the feature where we can make a personal greetings to our pets, especially when we are on vacation. The only slight issue is the size of the meals are very small and we had to continue to raise the number multiple times to find the exact amount that is right for our 2 cats. I would definitely purchase this feeder again.
Bought this back in 2024, it keeps my dogs kibble feedings on schedule! We disconnect it whenever we go away for an extended period (trips/vacation etc) and when we plug it back in all the previous settings are stored. I like that you can adjust the size of each meal and by very little which is good because you can give your pet the exact size meal you want. Highly recommend!
love this. she always has food available to her even when we are gone all day. She loves it and knows the sound of the food falling. Highly recommend this!
My favorite auto feeder. I tried the Petlibro auto feeder and found it would always grind the cats food to dust. This one doesn’t and is much easier to use. Set up was a breeze and I love that it runs off of batteries. A must have for peace of mind that your pet always has food available.
Works great. No issues. Cats love it
Working as advertised
I love this feeder. I wish that I would have bought a bigger size as obviously the potion size for my adult dog is more. 11 portions to equal what she needs to eat. But 10/10 would recommend.
This is a great automatic cat feeder! My cat was a grazer, gaining weight, and knocking over her food bowl when it was close to empty to let me know when to feed her. This feeder made giving her meals at certain times much easier with her feed times being more structured and she has maintained a healthy weight now. It was especially reliable when I went out of town for a few days! Highly recommend!
This makes feeding so easy. You just fill it, set the times you want the food to drop and forget it. You just need to remember to fill it. It's a great way to control how much food your cat gets everyday, especially if your pet tends to be overweight. I usually get 3-4 weeks on a fill feeding 1 cup per day.
This is a great feeder...we use it for our dogs when we're out of town for a day or two. We cover it with a plastic trash bag in case it rains...it hasn't disappointed us so far and it's super convenient for when we need it!
Easy to set up and install. FINALLY a feeder that doesnt need an app or anything and is completely cat proof!
I bought this a few months ago, because we were going away for a weekend, and our dog was going to have to be alone during a meal. He has access to the outdoors and such, but the dog sitter wasn’t available until after mealtime. Well, I wasn’t having that. I didn’t want him to go hungry, so I invested in this.
Overall, it’s a great device. Easy to set up, and the food fits in there nicely. When it works, it’s works great. The sound of the food hitting the bowl has now triggered our dog to know when it’s mealtime, and he eagerly goes out.
Two gripes about it:
1. You must watch to see how much food is released with each unit of feed when setting it up. I have to set ours to 25 for it to be a sufficient serving size for the dog (I nearly laughed when I first set it up for 5, then saw how little came out). This isn’t a big gripe as it does give you quite a bit of control over portion size.
2. I noticed that the dog was begging more than usual for treats a few weeks ago. I was curious about that, so I decided to go out at one of the scheduled mealtimes. Imagine my surprise when some kibble dust came out but hardly anything else. The rotation of the motor inside will crush some of the kibble and basically cause the motor to get stuck. It still makes the noise like it’s rotating, but doesn’t actually rotate. Fixing the jam is easy since the food container comes off very easily, but it makes me nervous about using this for extended periods of time away if we ever need it for that. I may have to invest in different food that’s smaller kibble should that happen again.
We’ve had this one for just about 2.5 years and it is still going strong. I just started using the voice recorder for my new kitty because she knows her name and always comes running, but the quality is not good. Also, it does slowly lose track of time. I bought the cord and have backup batteries, so my cat will never miss a meal; now we just need one for the dog.
