Set up was easy. Programming was a little confusing at first. They only have a 24 hour clock. The “portions” feature is also a bit confusing. Takes some math to try and figure out how much to give your pet. If they could add a conversion chart in the instructions instead of just one line of “1 serving = 1.5 teaspoons” that would be incredibly helpful. And on top of that the portions aren't exactly correct so you will need to mess with the settings to figure out what’s best for your pet.
Overall pretty decent product, just takes a bit of time to figure out programming to make sure your pet is getting the correct amount of food. Pretty happy with this!
This is the third feeder i purchased and i love it. Super easy to set up and uses back up battery in case of power outage. Gives me piece of mind when I travel
Nice design. One hopper does consistently get a small bit more than 50%, but that is the direction that the dispenser is swinging from. I also found that the recording you can make to call your pets to eat is entirely unnecessary as they come running to the sound of food hitting the metal bowls.
We purchased this when we were going to be away for the weekend and didn't want to get a catsitter. One of our cats will eat whatever's available, so just leaving food out isn't an option.
Setup is pretty easy. The cats very quickly learned to react to the sound of food being released (you don't really want a cat to be sitting on you when the dinner bell rings) and we have this set up to feed them twice a day, so all we need to do is refill it occasionally. Our main issue has been that one of our cats is a lot greedier than the other, so we ended up just programming this for her and feeding the other cat separately when the first one isn't around, but I can hardly blame the machine for that. The food will always be evenly divided between two bowls, but this is explicitly meant for two cats. Overall, no complaints.
We really like them so far. Less time worrying if younger the cats. Makes life easier.
This has been a life changer! Especially with as many rescue cats as we have. It helps to cut down on some time or forgetfulness! Ours are outside and it also keeps other critters out!!
I've owned this for 3 years now. Has worked perfectly, including during brief power outages when the rechargeable batteries kick in. I use it as a small portion supplement dry feeder for my cats between normal wet feed meals. I know they're not starving, even if my daily schedule is interrupted, and I'm confident I'm managing their daily caloric intake well. It's easier to resist the treat-begging guilt!
Works great! Such a game changer. I dont have my cats yelling at me every time I go in the kitchen now haha
The voice option is a little quiet though… my only complaint but its honestly not even an issue. The food dropping into the bowl is loud enough for them to hear and come running.
Perfect solution for feeding times
Perfect from when I had to travel and leave my little fur babies alone for a few days. Even though I had someone check on them daily, this made feeding the cats a whole lot easier on the sitter. She literally did not have to do anything other than just make sure that they actually ate food. I was even more pleased when I had less work after I came back from the vacation. It really is kind of a set it and forget it until it’s time to replace the food. Not recommend using all four feeding time. Recommend two feedings, and ensuring that feeding has enough food in each setting so not over or under feed. Also if you live in a multi-dwelling apartment and know that little critters can come to your place, just make sure you give enough food for that feeding time and not more. Did you leave school there? You do invite unwanted guests. So again, be mindful of the amount of food that you provision in one setting.
Work well and easy to set up
I love this feeder SO much. I only give my cats a little kibble each morning (to supplement their main food). They used to be up and screaming for food every morning at like 5am. Now, this automatically feeds them and they have learned exactly when and no longer scream me awake.
It works flawlessly. I have zero negative thoughts about it.

This took out the guess work of feeding the cats everyday and since I tend to be forgetful I never have to worry if the cats are getting fed.
It’s easy to use and program. We went out of town for a week and the tank had plenty of food for the cats all week.

This is a great auto-feeder. My cats were a little afraid of it at first but now they anticipate it.

Easy setup, the voice record feature is awesome! The cats hear it and come to eat. A little trickier deciding what level to set for food. I have let me other family know that if they have cats this is what they need to purchase.
