The Voluas feeder is great, we like the variability of the unit. I would have been a 5 star if the cord was black, like the unit. A white cord stands out and looks bad. Now I need to buy another cord... :(

This is the most awesome cat feeder in the world! Very precise measurements, good quality and easy to set up!
Bought mine exactly 2 years ago! Has done very well - Not sure we could ever go back to not having an automatic feeder! This one does have a few quirks - if the power goes out, it is likely that it could mess up your "feeding schedule." Also, ours just started doing this thing where it is now only spitting out a few pieces of food, instead of the amount it is supposed to! Granted, this is 2 years after we purchased it & has not skipped a beat since then! Buying another one now to replace it! Worth it all day! :)
I picked this feeder up for our kitty after the one I got less than a year prior kicked the bucket. I have had this feeder plugged in every day since we bought it and it has not missed a food portion dispense event yet. Controls are easy to use and it's nice I that I can manually drop a portion at my discretion. It has definitely held up from the 3 years since I bought it and still works flawlessly.
This is exactly what we needed, our voice is recorded so our cat gets a personal touch when im working 14 hrs i know hes fed!

Reliable. I've used the battery mode and the plug in.
Only note is that it rations food when the feeder gets low, so I don't realize that my cat is not getting her full serving until she acts out.
My cat can't break into the feeder. It has a durable, cat-proof lid.

My old automatic feeder croaked and this one had promising reviews so I thought I'd give it a go - I'm glad I did! It was incredibly easy to set up and program a feeding schedule, and the portions are more customizable than my previous feeder. It also holds quite a bit of food so I don't have to refill it as often. The stainless steel bowl is easy to clean and the feeder is more compact and easier to keep away from my greedy dogs. Highly reccomend!
I purchased two of these for my cats and I really like them. They feed my cats every day and I chose them since they dispense Purina Pro Plan kibble well.
They have were they record you telling your cats to come eat or call their name, and it depends on how close you are to the feeder whether it’s loud or quiet. When the food dispenses it’s a normal noise level that youd expect. They’re pretty sturdy since at least my cats have never spilled them. And hopefully they won’t anytime soon!
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of my feeders consistently gets a few minutes off of universal time. Like I set the system time and it gets off by a few minutes so every few months I have to reset the system time.
